This is our lovely old Golden Retriever Toby, who died at this time last year aged 15 years. Toby did not have a mean bone in his body, he loved all people and creatures great and small. People would stop us in the street to tell him how beautiful he was, he came to expect it, and was very disappointed if anyone walked on by without stopping for a chat. we miss old Toby, but if Dogs have a Heaven there's one thing I know, old Tobe has a wonderful home. Pop over to The House on Side of the Hill for more Pet Treasures.
Bless him. He always had a smile as I came through the back gate. He's a dog I'll never forget.
ReplyDeletePets are very special. No more dogs for me now. I had a beautiful Newfoundland. Now it's just the cats.
